Last updated October 17, 2026. This page explains what Packs Near Me collects and why, in plain language.

Visit counts

We count visits with PostHog in cookieless mode. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. PostHog receives your IP address only to make a daily anonymous hash and does not store it. We remove query strings and ad click IDs from page addresses before they are sent. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we send nothing.

Location searches

ZIP and city searches run in your browser. When you press "Near me", your browser shares your location with the page only to sort machines by distance. It is not sent to us or stored.

Restock reports

When you report a machine we store the machine, what you saw, your optional note and the time. To stop spam we also store a hash of your connection that changes every day. We do not store your IP address. Please do not put personal details in notes.

Restock alerts

If you sign up for alerts we store your email address and the city you chose. We use it only to send restock alerts and related updates about Packs Near Me. We never sell or share it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, email hello@packsnearme.com. We reply within 30 days.

Services we use

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores reports and sign-ups.
• PostHog counts visits (cookieless).
• OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap provide the map tiles your browser loads.

Children

The site is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect email addresses from children under 13. If you think a child signed up, email us and we will delete it.
