Does Dollar Tree sell Pokémon cards? What they carry

Updated October 22, 2026 · By the Packs Near Me team

Yes, Dollar Tree sells Pokémon cards, but not all of them are official Pokémon TCG booster packs. Its website lists a 3-card Pokémon pack for $1.50 and a 10-card pack for $5, and neither listing says it is a sealed booster from The Pokémon Company. A 2025 Game Rant story also describes a $5 Destined Rivals booster pack bought at Dollar Tree. Stock varies by store, so call before you drive.

Does Dollar Tree sell Pokémon cards?

Yes. When we checked on October 22, 2026, dollartree.com had product pages for these Pokémon items. Prices are as listed that day and can vary.

Item on dollartree.com Price listed What the listing tells you
Pressti Pack Pokémon Trading Card, 3-pc Pack $1.50 Three Pokémon trading cards. Not described as a booster pack.
TCG REFUEL PKMN CARDS 10PK $5.00 Name and price only, no photo. No set named. The site hides this page from its own search.
Pokémon Puzzle Ball, 100-pc Pack $5.00 A puzzle toy for ages 6 and up. Not a card product.

The puzzle ball is here on purpose. A Pokémon name on a Dollar Tree item does not mean it is a trading card. Stickers, puzzles and toys carry the same characters.

For the 10-card pack, Dollar Tree's page shows only the name and price. A company called Wayne Global sells a "Pokémon TCG Refuel 10 Card Pack" with the same name and card count (we think it is the same product, but Dollar Tree does not say). Wayne Global describes it as "10 OFFICIAL POKEMON TRADING CARDS" and says each pack has "10 original, authentic, and near mint trading cards." That wording does not say the cards come from sealed boosters, and it names no set.

Are Dollar Tree Pokémon cards official sealed packs?

It depends on the product. Here is what we could confirm for each kind.

The 3-card pack. Dollar Tree's own text says it features "fun trading cards of your favorite Pokémon." It also says the pack "is not meant for individual sale or resale" and that "packaging and product designs may change periodically." Hobby House Toys lists the same barcode (UPC 684941060394) as a "Pressti Pokemon Pack" that "Includes 3 Trading Cards." Card Giants sells a "Pokemon 3ct. PresstiPack" and says it is "Produced by Presstine." Calendars.com sells a "Pokemon Pressti Pack 3 Card Set Mystery Pack" from "Presstine Marketing Inc." and says the "cards are officially licensed, repackaged by a third-party distributor" and that "this isn't a booster pack." We found no statement from The Pokémon Company about this pack.

The 10-card Refuel pack. See above. Ten cards alone does not make it a booster pack.

Official booster packs. Game Rant reported on June 24, 2025 that a Reddit user said they got a "$5 booster pack bought at Dollar Tree" as a gift and pulled Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex from Destined Rivals. That is one shopper's story. We found no Dollar Tree statement about official Pokémon booster packs.

How to tell the difference in your hand:

  • Look for the Pokémon TCG name and a set name on the pack or wrapper, such as "Destined Rivals." A pack with no set name is probably a mixed pack.
  • Check that the wrapper is sealed and not torn or re-taped.
  • Be careful with very low prices. Pokémon Support says "if the price of a pack seems too good to be true, it probably is," and that "images of our products are available on our website."

How much do Pokémon cards cost at Dollar Tree?

On the pages we read, the 3-card pack was $1.50 and the 10-card pack was $5.00. Game Rant's story mentions a $5 booster pack. Dollar Tree says prices and availability "may vary between stores and online."

Dollar Tree is no longer only a $1 store. In a September 28, 2021 press release, it said it would begin "adding new price points above $1" across its Dollar Tree Plus stores and test them in some older stores. It said it was on track for 500 Dollar Tree Plus stores by the end of 2021, "offering an assortment of value priced $1, $3, and $5 products." Its CEO said the value promise holds "whether it is $1.00, $1.25, $1.50."

Its August 27, 2026 earnings release says it ended the quarter with "approximately 6,600 multi-price stores." The same release counts 9,436 stores in the U.S. and Canada. So some stores carry more higher-priced items than others. We found no Dollar Tree statement about Pokémon card prices, and we cannot say which stores have the $5 packs.

Can you buy Pokémon cards from Dollar Tree online?

Not in a way that suits most parents. The product data behind the 3-card pack page shows a case of 36 with a case price of $54.00. The 10-card pack data shows a case of 48 at $240.00. It looks like online orders are by the case, and we could not confirm that the 10-card pack can be ordered online at all. That is our reading of the site's data, not a stated rule.

Dollar Tree's return policy also says all sales are final for orders placed at DollarTree.com. Dollar Tree has a same-day delivery site too, but we could not confirm that any Pokémon card items are offered there. If you want one pack as a gift, plan to buy in a store.

How do you check if your Dollar Tree has Pokémon cards?

We found no tool on Dollar Tree's site that shows a card item on a given store's shelf. These steps help:

  1. Find your store. The Dollar Tree store locator at locations.dollartree.com has a page for each store. The pages we read show the address, directions, a phone number, weekly hours and an "Open Now" note. They show no stock.
  2. Call and ask. Ask whether the store has Pokémon trading cards today, and whether they are small packs or packs with a set name on them.
  3. Try a second store. Dollar Tree says availability varies between stores.
  4. Check the pack before you pay. Use the tips above.
  5. Tell others. If you find cards, report it. You can also sign up for alerts.

When does Dollar Tree restock Pokémon cards?

Dollar Tree has not published a restock day or time for Pokémon cards. We found no purchase limit published either, and no news report that gives a schedule. Anyone who names a fixed day is guessing. We make no claim that any store has cards in stock right now.

Can you return Pokémon cards to Dollar Tree?

Dollar Tree's return policy page says:

  • In a store: "With the original receipt, items can be exchanged for another item, or a refund will be issued in the original form of payment. Without the original receipt, items can be exchanged at the current scanned price."
  • On DollarTree.com: "All sales are final for orders placed at DollarTree.com," except when an order is incomplete or arrives damaged.

The policy does not mention trading cards or opened packs. Keep your receipt, and ask a team member before you open a pack you may want to return.

Where else can you find Pokémon cards?

Official Pokémon TCG vending machines are almost all inside grocery stores such as Safeway, Kroger, Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Fred Meyer and H-E-B. Our map lists 2,014 machines, and none are at Dollar Tree. Find the closest one on the vending machine map, read when vending machines restock, and see where to buy Pokémon cards for every kind of store.

For other chains, read when Walmart restocks Pokémon cards, when Target restocks Pokémon cards, Pokémon cards at Walgreens, and whether Dollar General sells Pokémon cards.

Dollar Tree's listings do not say whether the packs are official sealed Pokémon TCG boosters.
