Does Sam's Club sell Pokémon cards? Bundles and limits

Updated October 22, 2026 · By the Packs Near Me team

Yes, Sam's Club sells Pokémon cards, mostly as bundles, collections and special boxes instead of single packs. You need a Sam's Club membership to buy in a club, and the listings we found limit purchases to two per membership. Stock comes and goes, so check before you drive.

Does Sam's Club sell Pokémon cards?

It does. Sam's Club has listed Pokémon trading card products on samsclub.com and in its clubs. Sam's Club is a division of Walmart Inc., and its corporate page calls it "the membership warehouse club solution for everyday living." It runs its own memberships, limits and return rules, so do not assume Walmart's rules apply.

We read Sam's Club's help pages and Pokémon listings in a web browser on October 22, 2026, plus news and tracker reports. When a fact comes from someone other than Sam's Club, we say who.

What Pokémon products does Sam's Club sell?

Mostly bundles and collections. Here is what we found on October 22, 2026. Prices vary, and none of these items could be bought when we checked.

Product (as listed) What the listing said Where
Pokémon 4 Mini Tins + 4 Promo Cards Bundle Scarlet & Violet 151 mini tins with booster packs and foil cards. "Coming Soon In Club Only - November 18th." "Max 2 per membership." "No returns or exchanges." Shipping, pickup and delivery "Not available." Samsclub.com
Pokémon Binder + Poster Collection with Booster Packs "Coming Soon! In Club Only - April 14th." "Member Limit of 2." "No returns or exchanges." Shipping, pickup and delivery "Not available." Samsclub.com
Pokemon Heavy Hitters Premium Collection Card Set $46.78 each on Instacart (delivery prices can differ from the club), "Out of stock" Sam's Club delivery page on Instacart

Both Samsclub.com listings showed "Members-only price" instead of a price, and the site notes that "Prices may vary in club and online." Neither listing gives a year. The April 14th date has passed, and reviews on the mini tins page date from November 2025, so both listings appear to be old ones still online. "In Club Only" means you buy it at the club, not online. Other items, like the Focused Fighters box below, were reported as sold online too. Check each listing.

Does Sam's Club have exclusive Pokémon boxes?

Yes, sometimes. The clearest recent case is the Ascended Heroes Focused Fighters Premium Collection. Wargamer (updated July 15, 2026) said it would go on sale July 21 for $55, which works out to $3.90 a pack. It had 14 Ascended Heroes packs, a jumbo Mega Hawlucha ex card, and four promos. Wargamer said "there's a buy limit of two boxes per person" and that "you'll have to be a Sam's Club Plus member to have any chance of buying it."

Wargamer was not consistent on where it sold. It first called the box "exclusive to this online store," then said it was "available in Sam's Club stores from their opening time." It said online sales ran "from 10pm CST/8pm PT."

The restock tracker TCG Drop Radar (updated October 20, 2026) lists a rumored Sam's Club bundle with an Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box and a Poké Ball at $49.98 in "Fall 2026." The tracker says Sam's Club has not announced it, and that a reported August 25 launch was denied. We found no Sam's Club statement, so treat it as a rumor.

Do you need a membership to buy Pokémon cards at Sam's Club?

In a club, yes. Sam's Club's Guest Membership help page says guest membership "is not available in-club or for making club purchases."

Online is looser, but only some. The same page says guest purchases "have a 10% surcharge per online order" and that "certain products, services, offers, and promotions are available exclusively to paid members." Wargamer said buyers of the Focused Fighters box needed to be Sam's Club Plus members. So a hot online drop may need a paid membership, not just a guest account.

If you are a parent buying one gift, a membership may cost more than the cards save you. Think about that before you join.

Is there a limit on Pokémon cards at Sam's Club?

Yes, on the items we found. Limits are set by the product, not by one store-wide rule.

What Limit Source
4 Mini Tins + 4 Promo Cards Bundle "Max 2 per membership" Samsclub.com listing
Binder + Poster Collection "Member Limit of 2" Samsclub.com listing
Focused Fighters Premium Collection, July 21, 2026 Two boxes per person Wargamer

We found no Sam's Club statement about resellers. A limit on a listing is the only official limit we can point to.

When does Sam's Club restock Pokémon cards?

Sam's Club has not published a restock day or time for Pokémon cards. We found none on any page we could read.

Trackers fill the gap, and they do not agree. TCG Drop Radar says online drops "typically hit between 6am and 10am Central, weekday mornings," and that Sam's sometimes re-drops cancelled orders in a smaller wave. Wargamer reported a 10pm Central start for one drop. These are tracker and press reports about past drops, not a schedule.

What helps:

  1. Check the product page. Look for "Out of stock" and any member limit before you go.
  2. Call your club. Ask if Pokémon items are out. We could not confirm whether the site shows your own club's shelf stock.
  3. Watch set release dates. The Pokémon Company posts new product dates on pokemon.com.
  4. Report what you see. If you spot cards, post a report or sign up for alerts.

Can you return Pokémon cards to Sam's Club?

Plan on no. Sam's Club's Returns help page lists "Trading Cards (opened and unopened)" and "Collectibles" under "No returns." Both Pokémon listings we read also say "No returns or exchanges." The Guest Membership page adds that guest memberships "are not eligible for the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee."

Check that the box is sealed and is the product you want before you pay. Walmart treats trading cards as final sale too, as we cover in our Walmart guide.

How do you tell sealed Pokémon products from resealed ones?

Because trading cards cannot be returned, check before you leave the aisle:

  • The wrap should be tight and clean, with no re-taping or odd seams.
  • The box should name the set and the contents, like "14 booster packs."
  • A bundle should match its listing.
  • If the price looks far too low, skip it.

Sam's Club vs Costco and Walmart

Costco is the closest match. It also sells Pokémon mostly as multi-pack bundles, and some are online only. On October 17, 2026, a Costco listing had a limit of one transaction and two units per membership per day. See the Costco section of our where-to-buy guide. Both clubs need a membership. For Walmart stores and Walmart.com, read when Walmart restocks Pokémon cards.

Other places to look, including vending machines

Our map lists 2,014 official Pokémon TCG vending machines. None are at Sam's Club. Almost all are inside grocery stores such as Safeway, Kroger, Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Fred Meyer and H-E-B. Find one on our vending machine map, and read when vending machines restock.

For more stores, see where to buy Pokémon cards, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, Dollar Tree and Barnes & Noble.
